Students' Union Executive Team Nominations are now open

Become a member of the SU executive team and do all this and more, we are looking for a whole new excutive team to run the Students' Union. Everything from club and socieites, trips and making changes at the college to make your college experience the best it can possibly be.
There are four key roles in the SU Executive Team, below you can read all about each role and decide if nay of them would suit you.
As the President of the Students’ Union you will lead the Executive Committee to represent, support and give voice to the student body of Weston College. You will play a key role in establishing the Executive Committee, Student Constitution and ensuring a year-on-year presence of a Students’ Union. You will develop valuable leadership, management and organisational skills and experience.The role will also provide a range of opportunities to grow your wider skillset, confidence and cross-college profile. As the Vice President of the Students’ Union you will support the President and play a key role in the development of the Executive Committee. Providing leadership support and enabling the president to achieve the aims and objectives of the Union. You will play a key role in establishing the Executive Committee, Student Constitution and ensuring a year-on-year presence of a Students’ Union. You will develop valuable organisational and communication skills. The role will also provide a range of opportunities to grow your wider skillset, confidence and cross-college profile. As a Campus Officer, you will be the first point of contact for students on your campus. Providing feedback to the Union on specific problems with your campus. Attening Union and Council meetings to ensure your campus is aware of events and Union actions. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your communication, organisational skills and to make sure your campus is respresented fairly and has the same opportunity as all other campuses. As the Secretary of the Students’ Union you will be the first point of contact for all membership and administrative queries. Ensuring the Unions documentation and policies are up to date, this is vital to ensuring the Union does the best it can for all students.
